We are a proud family owned and operated business that was established in 1987. However, our story began sometime before that on 47th street, in New York City's "Diamond District".
Mr. Mamari immigrated here from Syria, fleeing conflict in the Middle East with his family. At 21 years old, with little to their name, Mr. Mamari and his 2 siblings entered the jewelry business with a small booth in the Diamond District. Their early success allowed Mr. Mamari to open his own booth in the local Spring Valley Flea-market.
The Spring Valley Flea-market proved to be a very successful time where Mr. Mamari built a remarkable relationship and reputation with the community. After a few years, Mr. Mamari moved into a larger space with his first official store location in Rockland Plaza.
For 25 years, Mamari Jewelers grew into a household name in Rockland County by providing high quality customer service, on-site jewelry repair, & much more.
In 2008, Mr. Mamari bought and built his dream store across the highway from his Rockland Plaza location on Middletown Road by the Shops of Nanuet.
Mamari Jewelers now carries over 10 designer jewelry & watch brands and has been featured on
BRAVO TV on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Mr. Mamari's son Rami is now following in his footsteps in efforts learn the business and continue the legacy.
We are so thankful to our friends, family, customers, & community for all their support!
Help us continue our story.
